Titanic

A Conversation I Took Part In, semi-changed due to lack of sufficcient memory on my part.That, and i may just lie to make it more interesting. Biased-fiction.

Me:(upon hearing a strange whistle in the background) That sounds like the whistle from Titanic. When they're going back to look for survivors.
Friend 1(B): (agrees with me and mumbles a bit, i don't actually hear her...it's a loud room.)
Friend 2(K): B.'s parents came over on the titanic?
Me: What?
B: Yeah, K, My parents came over on the titanic in 1912. My mom was born in 1909 too!
K:(Still not catching on to the sarcasm dripping from our voices) Oh, sorry. I meant your grandparents.
Me: Yeah, her grandparents came over on the Titanic.
K:Did they survive? Oh, nevermind. Stupid question. But still, it's really cool to have grandparents that came over on the titanic.
Me: K, please never take too close a look at your life.
