He Puts Fear In Our Minds To Stay In Control.

Quote Of The Day:
"President Andrew Shepherd: America isn't easy. America is advanced citizenship. You've got to want it bad, because it's gonna put up a fight. It's gonna say, "You want free speech? Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil who is standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours. You want to claim this land as the 'land of the free'? Then the symbol of your country cannot just be a flag. The symbol also has to be one of its citizens exercising his right to burn that flag in protest. Now show me that, defend that, celebrate that in your classrooms. Then you can stand up and sing about the 'land of the free.'"
-The American President, 1995

The Western Man's Need To Cry

Quote Of The Day:
"Children Scream, Or So It Seems, Louder Than Before...Out Of Doors, And Into Stores With Bigger Names. Mama Tried To Wash Their Faces, But, Theses Kids...They Lost Their Graces. "
-Old Chests; Damien Rice

Cemetary

Sit Between The Age Of Light And Darkness,
Heaven And Earth,
Tell Me There Is No Tomorrow.
I Can Read You Lips...
Hide Nothing From Me Now.

You Don't Know Why.

Repeat The Same Tune Over And Over Again...
Pretend That It's Significance Is Merely Coincidence.

Quote Of The Day:
"I'd Break Right Through The Irony."
-Follow; Breaking Benjamin

Depth

Look Into The Depths Of The Abandoned Well,
But Do Not Think About The Nothingness You See.

No,

Instead Concentrate On The Air On The Back Of Your Wrist,
And The Tip Of Your Nose.

Smell The Dark, Dank Eternity That Outstretches Underneath You.
The Somewhat Imaginative Sweet Smell,

Like Rain,

Or Fog.

Imagine Yourself Falling....
Plunging Through It's Glassy Facade.
Hear The Water's Whispered Sighs,
It's Eternity Of Constriction Against Walls Of Stone And Ice.

Envision

Envision The World How It Really Is,
The Plethora Of Sadness,
Absolute Joy,
The Human Condition.

Look Before There's Nothing More To See.

Lay Down Next To The Train Tracks,
Don't Fear The Beast...
Notice How It Moves,
It's Arcs and Weaves.

Wrap The Birds In Your Vision,
Watch The Wings,
Feel The Flutter.
Taste The Blending Colors From One Feather To The Next.

Listen To The Trees Groan In Song,
Wooden Rich Voices Ringing Through The Wind,
Calling Out Into The World Warping Under It's Ancient Gaze,
Begging For The Explanation No One Can Explain.

Envision The Earth How It Should Always Be.

Apocalypse

A Dynamic Of Culture That Is Almost Poetic To The Ears...

Elsa: What book is that?

Jeremy: The Guttenburg Bible.

Elsa: You think God is going to save you?

Jeremy: No, I don't believe in God.

Elsa: You seem to be holding onto the book very tightly.

Jeremy: I'm protecting it. This Bible is the first book ever published. It represents the dawn of the age of reasoning. As far as I'm concerned, the written word is mankind's greatest achievement. Laugh if you want. But if Western Civilization is destroyed, I want to save one little piece of it.

Photographs

There Is A Wall I Have Placed Between Me And You,
Where Memories Flutter And Pulse.
The Etchings are Burning Themselves Into The Cement,
Tell Me No Lies.
How Do You Illustrate Something You Can't Picture?

I see no snow...do you?

This is the fake view outside my fake bedroom window of my fake house in Austrailia.

It makes the reality of the cold, wet, white stuff that really blankets my roof un peu easier to deal with.

Quote Of The Day:
"I love deadlines.I escpecially love the whooshing sound they make as they fly by."

Wordplay

This is my first "Official" blog...how lovely. The start-out will probably be horribly slow, because i am NOT good with technology and it takes me a week to figure things out. But when i do, there will be half-decent posts up here.
